Here I want to introduce some Chinese new year folk-custom for my foreign friends. The first is Spring Festival scrolls. They make up with red paper. People write words of nice wish on the red paper. People will paste them on the doorcase. Spring Festival scrolls always have three pieces of paper. The first one is the shortest one pasted on the doorcase top. The other two are same long and pasted on the left and right of doorcase. People always paste them in the morning of the first day of new year in Chinese lunar calendar. Many Spring Festival folk-customs have disappear in the city. This is one of the few hold Spring Festival fork-customs.
