4 yesrs studying english for me more or less got some ideas of how to improve english. I still remembered that when i first  came to class in college i was shocked by the eanglish teacher's fluent speaking and abundant knowledge. It  was really unbelievable for a  man  can got the level like that as i thought  at that time. You cannot understand a person like me even did not know what's the english grammar, let alone the speaking. Though not good the eanglish i had to find a way to chang it. At the end of the first semester i was still not satisfied with my english improvement and then i went to my foreign  teacher who came from California , a kindly old man, for getting some suggestions. He was reading a book. After i told him my puzzle he  showed his book to me and said :" oh, that's ok. everyone has the problem when he first studying english. also i got the problem when i was a child."  he smiled as his eyes also smiled," it is not difficult to learn english, you just need to like," he swaying his book," reading, reading is ok. you should reading english everyday. maybe a little difficult, but if u followed, i think u will get a  big big stride in u language." So, i took this way reading books. At the first time it was really hard  for a freshman to read the original eanglish and i could not take it. Then i change the way and  started to read china daily and some books simple like bookworm series.  As a result, i find that reading is a good way to learn eanglish. It is a comprehensive improvment to learn it. The speaking can got a high level because u read like speak in a silent way, the vocabulary studying as you read the words and the writing when u read u follow the western thinking way. But not only that, the more u read, the more u understand the weastern and enrichment of u konwledge.
