Farewell to 5.12  we gather forever

May 12th 2008 14：28 pm. It was a dark moment that all the chinese people will never forget. It was a tragic moment that the people all over the world will remember. Just at that moment. The whole Sichuan province centers on Wenchuan county began to shiver intensely. The earth was blustering and the rainstorm was out of control. The wind blowed with the mixed scream from the helpless people. The crows were scared by the abrupt disaster.Approximately more than 90 thousand compatriot lost their lives and countless people were injured in the disaster. Then everything seemed to be in a terrible mess. The whole China were surrounded with enormous soreness. Undoubtfully. People was realizeing that a big earthquake had been occured in the beautiful Sichuan province in China. We can’t imagine that how influential and dangerous this earthquake really was.But it was unprecedented without saying.which absolutely challenged the chinese people.

I was in Xi’an when the Wenchuan earthquake happened. At the moment. We were in the classroom on the 5th floor. Then. We were going to start our class.At the beginning. I didn’t feel the building spinning. But I heard the impact noise from the lamps and fans.The first idea that came to my mind was “Oh earthquake coming”. For me this was the 3th time to meet an earthquake. So I shouted to my classmates and asked them to go out. We all ran out of the door quickly. Outside we could see many students standing on the ground. Some of them looked serious. Others looked nervous. They haven’t been awaked from what happened just now.Not long later. The students was evacuated to the playground.and all of them were sharing their awful experience. Until then .Actually nobody knew where was the earthquake center and what was going on. I ran away and tried to find a place I could watch TV. Finally I got one. Many people packed in front of a supermarket and concentrated themselves on the News from CCTV. According to the news.I realized the ponderance of this disaster.For fear that there would be aftershocks in the coming days.We were all asked to sleep in the open playground.No matter day or night. We all gathered together and listened to the radio withou stoping. Because we wanted to know the latest evolution. Frankly speaking. Our hearts were always following the people in the disaster area. At the very first when the earthquake happend. Our government and amry took series of resolute measures and timely succor.The whole society was united tightly and the forgeign aids were also brought in. On that occasion.There was no so-called frontier or race in the world. We all had the same faith that we should do the best in our power to rescue the people  who was suffering. We should try to rebuild a new Sichuan as soon as possible. We waved and cheered when we heard that sequential miracles of life appeared again and again.We told each other. We shared everything everymoment.which was not only a good way to comfort the parting people,but also a good way to power the survivals.During that time. So many moving stories spreaded over China.which made us burst into tears.All of us could feel the power among the people and feel the sincere warmth among hearts. When we encouter disaster.devotion is the belief.with which we can pass on courage to live.As long as we hold together .hand in hand .heart with heart. even bigger disaster.we can live through. And we are bound to rebuild a better common home.

When the aftershock is getting weaker and weaker

When the volunteers are busy working everywhere in the disaster area

When the people’s life is recovering

When the home have been restoring

When the evil of earthquake is leaving

When the people begin to depict their future after that black memory

The memory belongs to the earthquake has gone day after day. However .We will never forget the people who has contributed themselves to overcoming the disaster. Standing at the completely new historical point.With great confidence. The chinese people decide to say ”goodbye” to the dark 5.12 and to welcome a brand-new world coming.
