In my mind’s eye, a girl who can play the piano must be a charming, romantic and versatile lady. When my father bought me a piano at my age of 12, I dreamed of being a great pianist or becoming an elegant lady at least.

At the same time, my parents found a piano teacher for me and every day I should practice playing piano again and again as my parents demanded. Before long, I began to escape the practice as much as I could because my interest in piano was worn off by the dreary practice. So I stopped learning to play the piano when I was in high school.

One day after I have stopped playing piano, my father touched my beautiful piano and tried to play the keys to make some sounds with a disappointed face. I feel regretted not only giving up on the halfway in piano but also falling short of my father’s expectation.

So I made up my mind to learn to play the piano again in my college life. I feel satisfied when I can play a piano song perfectly. So I practice hard every day. Now I have a dream that is to play “Wedding March” with my husband who can play the violin on my own wedding day.
