When I issued myself out of the warm and comfortable room , the misty sky seemed overwhelmed with countless snowflakes . a strong wind passed me , sweeping the white powder into the sky which swirled under the dazy lampost which shed yellow light upon a patch of snow-covered road and in the distance glided by a white car .

I tread upon the soft and cold road which made a very pleasant sound , I halted a moment , looking at the white powder which was a bit sticky . along the street stood some trees heavily clothed with snow accumulated by the past three successive snowstorms . under the white powder stretched the hardened ice , intimidating to make the pedistrians lose their footings .

One or two travelers can be seen straying in the empty road with their faces wholly wrapped to bolster themselves up against the pervading icy air except two eyes . shops have already been shut up even it did not strike 20 o’clock , which I think is attributed to the fact that few would like to walk out of warm apartments . however there was still some faint light issuing from a sex shop in the first intersection across the still river .

Across the road towered an apartment , nevertheless onely two windows gave lights with the others swallowed by darkness , which I compared to two eyes of an animal , watching intently the white world where snowflakes were still swirling and the fierce wind rampaged in the inky sky unobstrusively .
