Decade + years ago I was at senior high school in downtown of county, the distance is not very far away from home, it is about 8 kilometers and should spend half past one hour to walk, when i was a child i offen walk to downtown to play, for a child it's almost as if a long march, till now i am also scary when i recalled about it, especially in burning hot summer.
The road also left my mother's uncounted footsteps with diligent sweat despite the weather was good or not, when i was in dream, she had left and on the way to downtown to sell vegetables for family daily expense, this was a effective way to save money. you kown they must supported two sons to keep school studying, that was a big pressure for China farmers in 90s' (in that period agricultural products' price was very low), now mom is easy to get some unnamed illnesses maybe have some relevant elements with this period.
So far i offen recalled some scenes was moved with my heart, that was a very heavy sonw day in winter, snow nearly covered knees of adult, bike was unavailable on the road. I was on morning reading class at 7:30 am, feel cold and have not enough winter clothes to defense againsted chill, i never guessed mom would come, unexpected, she appeared and stood at the edge of the window and called me out, you can guess what a rough trip from home to here, she had never blamed about i didn't listened her advice to bring more clothes and asked me whether i got a cold and chilled my body, she brought clothes and two apples and some other foods to me, you know apple's price is expensive in the middle districts of China in winter, i knew she never ate any fruits in winter except the oranges what planted by self. i was staring at her face ,the face was carved by time and heavy load, i always told my classmates my mom was a pretty and kind mom, till now although mom is getting old, i also think so.
I am nearly to be the parents role now, recall the ordinary but great things what parents have been done for us sons, i am feel so guilty and be moved.
