There is a small vegetable shop near my home and I go there often to buy meal materials after work. I like the vegetable salesman, the egg salesman, and the rice sales woman; they are all always smiling and polite.

Today as usual I went to the shop, and firstly went to the egg man, I picked some eggs, and the man told me, 5 yuan. Then I opened my purse, I saw there is a piece of 100 yuan and a piece of 50 yuan, really, and no other small money. At that moment, I even said to myself secretly that, o, I have no small money, need to change. And I gave the 50 yuan to the salesman. I was waiting for his change, and looked around casually with a pair of lazy eyes and lazy body.

Then I heard the sales’ voice, here you are, and he gave me 5 yuan change.

What? Are you joking? I gave you 50 yuan! I opened my eyes big.

He still smiled politely, no, you gave me 10 yuan. You see, he showed me his money drawer, you see, there is even no 50 yuan, only 10 yuan and 20 yuan ones.

I took a look at his drawer, yes, his drawer has no big money in 50 yuan.

He kept smile, and I really had no heart to doubt his personality, while I couldn’t suspect my own memory!

What should I do? Where is the 50 yuan? Is that really just my own image?

Oh, my god!

Finally I gave up, because I had no way to do. And more important, I don’t want to suspect him.

After I finished buying all things I went out and passed the egg counter, I felt enormously sorry to have suspect him while I was still can’t believe I had 10 yuan given him, not 50 yuan!

 So I murmured to him that, sorry, I don’t know what happened.

He was dealing with a client, and said nothing to me, only glanced at me once. Oops, what kind of a glance of him！ I was attacked by his look, which full of contempt and been hurt.

I escaped. I don’t want to hurt people, while I don’t want to lose money also!

I went home and felt very tired even exhausted. After I calmed down, I tell myself, ok, let it be, don’t feel sorry for it, and don’t feel sorry for him.

For if it is true I gave him 10yuan, ok, I didn’t lose money, and he didn’t lose money, it’s good for both. Though it may hurt him, while he already spills his contempt on me in his glance, so now is fair;

If I gave him 50 yuan, and he cheated me to get 40 yuan extra with his great acting skills. Then, I need to say, this is not what I like to see, for he really looked like a good nice man in my mind. I would think this money paid for some good thing for my in future, like people said, 破财消灾，  and I also hope he would get his happiness, because they said, the people who cheat others means he has been cheated before.
