Some idea on the bullet train collision
It is a big shock for Chinese people to know the bullet train collision happened in south China several days ago, and is great sorry to know so many innocent people were died and injured in this accident. Also it is very angry for many of us to face the dereliction of duty of the administrative department which is in charge of this field.
Then I happened to have an idea, which maybe is naïve but may avoid this kind of tragedy.
That is to arrange train staff to change work with equal position among different city in regular time.

For example, there is a bullet train line run between A city and B city. Then allocate the most staff, no need the whole, of A train station to work in B train station at the same position, and B station staff to work in A city accordingly, for, like 2 months; and then change again. If A city have more than one train lines with different cities, then change in turn.
In this way, there are several advantages:
1, these staffs need to take the bullet train themselves time to time, so their own safeties have very closed relation with the train itself. So they would have to concern about how to make sure no problem of the train and the manage way.
2, the changing work of staffs from different city stations, could help to find some potential harm of the previous work way which the local staff may not notice in time. And this again can help to improve the average work level of the station.
3, changing work surrounding time to time could help the staffs to have more passion toward work. Familiar not only bring adeptness and skill, but also the laziness and tedious feeling, even irritability facing to the hard noisy station work. So regularly changing the surrounding would be good for the staffs.

- actually i don't think the reason of bullet train collision is the manage problem, i think the quality of the train is not good,maybe they used bad materials due to the material fatigue fracture.

- it is obvious that the accidence is caused by upper level administrative
problem .we should give respect to those people working on first line .and decades operations also prove the current runing system is stable and safe .

- as i see it, the biggest probelem is that there're defects in the bullet train system. that is, the technical design itself is not good enough. secondly, the management. if the problem had been discovered earlier, the tragedy could have been avoided.

- You seem to be a clever girl. What you suggested here is what I have learnt when I studied business psychology. It might really work if we put them into the same dangers that the passengers are facing, to force the officials to be concerned about safety as they are facing the same risks. As for corruption, the method of rotating government management personnel is very effective in the city where I live. The rotation procedure would make it difficult for officials to cultivate serious corrpuption.
However, according to the information available, it seems the problem of the train accident could be in the rail electronics and mechanical technology. The safty factor has been overlooked. The critical safety mechanisms on the train failed completely resulting in this terrible accident. It would take some time for people to re-establish confidence after this unfortunate accident..

- lindsay0306: actually i don't think the reason of bullet train collision is the manage problem, i think the quality of the train is not good,maybe they used bad myes, i think many poeple also doubt about the material of the train. or better to say, we doubt every aspect of the train before the administrative department could put forward a really convincing report of the reason of this accident. right?
