Australia is a vast country and has a range of climatic zones. For example,Melbourne has a temperate climate although the weather in Melbourne is known for having ‘four seasons in one day’,therefore a range of clothes is recommended.

I'm considering that Living with a foreign family for the first time can be challenging for students and host families. But it is the best way to help you experience Australia and improve your English.

ofcourse, when we are in a strange environment,we will come over and deal with many problems from our study and life.First of all,  i will share someting about the food in Ausrallia.Buying from one of Brisbane’s fresh food markets is a completely different experience to buying the groceries in a supermarket. At the markets you can smell if the tomato you are holding is ripe, hear recipe ideas from stallholders, feel the breeze as your shop outdoors.

It is a feast for your senses and your pantry when you take home fresh flowers, gourmet cheeses, rich yoghurt, and homemade pesto, pates and spreads. Luckily, the popularity of food markets continues to grow and Brisbane is blessed with many market options, most of them held on Saturdays.

Thank you for your advice.Maybe someday we can have a try .
Reply laceywang 2010-6-7 11:17
For students, the main transports are buses and trains. Going to school by train is a good way ,because the train is on time everyday. If you choose buses, you will find you may be not allowed to get on the bus when it is crowed in the bus. So you should get up earlier to catch the bus.

You can take a bottle of sunscreen lotion and a sunhat. If you want to enjoy the sunbath in the beach ,some effectively protective steps should be put into practice.

Alternatively,we can live with oversea students .The same situation probably makes us act like a big family. But it have cons ,e.g.,Chinese students  may speak Chinese everyday ,while japanese students may speak Japanese,so you will nerve improve your English.
