Today of every year means that I’m little of older. I know you can guess that it’s my birthday. For me, birthday is the same day but my feelings are changing a lot. When I was a little girl, I was always expecting the birthday would come soon and enjoyed that day would bring me best wishes and some gifts. On that day I was the star who can enjoy a lot of benefit, while I feel the different way now facing the special day. Sometimes I just hope I can totally forget about it and wish my family not to celebrate it with me. To be honest, being single makes me feel afraid of facing it, besides, my dad is not in good health now. I and my family are not in good mood to celebrate the day. When I was staying with my mom and dad in the hospital, mom who never forgets her daughters’ birthday often told me to have a rest and enjoy the day. I knew what she meant and made her know it’s not a big deal now and that I didn’t want to sit around to do nothing and preferred to be busy and shoulder more things for them.

However, it’s ridiculous that I’m afraid of facing the day, but on the other hand, I hope I can get wishes from my friends and family. Fortunately, I do receive a lot of blessings from some of my friends and families. I’m really grateful for that. Thanks for D inviting me to have a nice dinner and bring me a delicious big cake and others who send messages to me. I’m appreciated that my brother and his wife bring me a cute cake too, after being off work. I thought they wouldn’t remember it but they did.

Anyhow, it’s hard to describe the mood during the daytime. In general, after it’s a rainy and cloudy day, it clears up now. Today is just the one day of 365 days and every day is the same important to me. Live in the present and embrace the future happily.
