Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself:“I,not events,have the power to make me happy or unhappy today.I can choose which it shall be.Yesterday is dead,tomorrow hasn't arrived yet.I have just one day--today,and I'm going to be happy in it.”
However,many of us act as if we're in rudderless boats drifting in the sea of life.We arrive wherever the currents and tides take us.It doesn't have to be that way.You see,the boat we're in has a rudder!That rudder is CHOICE.If we use it,we can be the captain of our destiny.
