A chilling incident happened on April,13, when thousands of civilians gathered before the municipal building of Zhuanghe, Liaoning province. They had their complaints and they wanted to speak out, but they could not find a proper channel to air, so they resorted to the traditional way of kneeling before the building, protesting and lamenting their woes. The truth behind it can never be known, as distortion of facts has become a trend either for the sake of peace or out of fear. Today the authorities have asked the resignation of the mayor, blaming him for his coldness and lack of tactics in executing his duty. Lots of law-enforcement staff stepped in to mollify the angered crowd. It was said that the situation was now under control.
