I am feeling much better today. Talking with her for 20 minutes like an old friend. Love gone, friendship remains.

Yesterday I was very tired and a bit depressed, so I wrote a letter to her, angrily accusing of her for being cruel and asking her to end our friendship once for all. Today I relented.

Finally my program was broadcasted on CCTV. Happy and relieved.

The sunshine has come. I am feeling better now. Afterall, we have to work to earn a living, and that requires a balanced mentality.

I went abroad, I fully realized the word patriotism meant. Anyboy criticising the Chinese people will make me very uncomfortable, not to mean hatred or anger. Poor me.
- Now I am preparing to go home now. Nostalgic, homesickness, very complicated. Here is peace, gentility, aloofness; Beijing is hustle bustle, sociable or whatever. I couldn't find the right words

Peter was very kind to invite me to celebrate New Year in his house. It was a three-story building. We call it a villa, but here it's common for ordinary people. It opened my eyes. Haha
- Today after a month's eating of bread and after some efforts, I fried some eggs in oil and finished them all in minutes. I feel very happy. Sometimes one can easily be satisfied with little. Haha
- I have difficulty logging on this net here. Failure several times. Anyway I can write something now. I am feeling lonely now, unlike before. Perhaps I am old now or missing my friends.

Denmark is not so cold as Beijing. It rains intermittently, a drizzle. I have got over my uneasiness caused by zone difference. My first impression is the people here are very nice.

Happy Spring Festival!
- My niece was ill today. My cousin's friend contracted SLE and sought my help. The mother of my sister's boss was affilicted by angina and planned to come to Beijing for treatment. Really busy!

It's late. I have finished my PPT on The Harmful Effect of Alcohol". Surely, a few revisions and corrections will be needed before the lecture date; but now I feel a bit relieved.
