Abstract:In recent years, the Internet technology and resources are becoming more and more convenient for English learning. To look for the theoretical foundation of the auxiliary function of network technology in foreign language learning, the searchers try studing it from different angles of theory research .Among them, the second language acquisition theory is one of the principle of learning foreign language that must be based on in researching.To accomplish the process of language acquisition, it must have the environment and language input. Therefore,  creating a language environment and providing language input are becoming naturely to the extremely important conditions of the second language acquisition process, and network resources and technology as rich language and text information carrier has become the second language acquisition auxiliary good help. This paper mainly on English study as an example to discuss the Internet in the second language acquisition auxiliary function. And as carrier of rich language and text information, the network resources and technology has become right hand of the second language acquisition auxiliary . This paper mainly takes the English study as an example to discuss the Internet in the second language acquisition auxiliary function.

    21 century is the information age.  Internet is an information transmission network consisted of global interconnected by thousands of computer networking, which is no finalize the design, without borders and no time limit, and it is also the biggest information bank which store the most abundant all kinds of material since human history ever. On the other side, we live in a world that like an ocean of information , with the rapid development of network technology, the Internet has become an indispensable part of people's live and study. The second language acquisition process refers to that kind of second language acquisition in having mastered certain native language system premise, but separated from the social environment of target language, so the Internet become one of the important methods for the second language acquisition.

A. The development of the Internet

̥  Internet has experienced three stages including research nets, operation nets and business. So far,  no one in the world can know the exact scale of Internet. Internet is developing at an unexpectedly surprising speed. Today, Internet has changed the way of people's life and work gradually from all aspect . People can not only any time know about the latest weather information ,news and tourist information of that day on Internet, but also see the day's newspaper and the latest magazine, they can keep indoors to fry stock, shopping, spending and receiving e-mails all days, just click the mouse. Of course, the remote medical and remote education is also one of the enjoy.

    The significance of the Internet is not its scale, but that it provides a new globe information infrastructure. Today, the world is going forward to knowledge economy, the information industry has developed into the new pillar industry of the word in developed countries, and the new source power to promote the world economy with the high-speed development,and widely permeates all fields, it changed people's thought and production and living ways fundamentally. Throughout the history of the development of Internet, I come to the conclusion that the trend of the development of Internet basically has the following several aspects:

3) Interconnected global

4) Internet broadband

5) More Comprehensive platform, intelligent of business

    To sum up, with the trend of "Three Nets Fusion" which refers to the telecommunications, TV and computer enhanced, the future Internet will become a really more unity,  more intelligent and more business comprehensive platform, now it can mix all communications business together, and promote the rapid development of new business for the information technology industry with a revolution.

● The importance of network education

̥  Just in English teaching, the Internet network plays a very important role in it. We Chinese people learn English before mainly in the traditional teaching mode, the teachers are the center, but the students are in a passive position, it will lead to a lack of two-way communication, and it is difficult to inspire students' interest and subjective initiative. On the other hand, "unified type" teaching is also one of the disadvantages, the teacher is facing the whole class, he(she) cannot satisfied all the requirements of students of individual character difference, so the information provided by teacher is very limited. While the network teaching can solve these problems. First, it can accomplish truly personalized teaching and individual learning aiming at each leaner's characteristics by using the theory of the computer AI and according the principle of personalized. Second, we can use the technology of computer virtual reality to build a virtual study area on the real environment and realize the virtual hands-on activities. And then, it can focus the most excellent teachers on online teaching, so as to realize education resource sharing, and improve the quality of teaching. Finally, we can use the network to update teaching curriculum and teaching content. The Internet network make the teachers and students over school wall, across space and time, more importantly, it greatly develop students' view, and provide large amounts of assistant learning resource directly related to students' courses.

C. The matters should be paid attention to when accessing to the Internet

● The correct understanding of the Internet function:

   Faced with the deluge of language information on-line, someone feel that they do not know what to do and from where to start learning. But some people think that as long as online training, and always deal with English, they will be proficient in language with out any traditional training like listening, speaking, reading and writing. This is a kind of dependent psychology, but in fact it is just not so. Take American immigrants for example, many American immigrants although in America for more than 20 years, their English is also unsatisfactory, they speak with thick accent and mouthful of wrong grammar and sentence. In real life, no matter how bad these immigrants' speech are, how many mistakes to make, just it doesn't affect communication, there is no one correct for them. This make those mistakes upon them happen again and again. This is also why many English learners of overseas returnees found that their English lever did not improve much in these years of going abroad. Similarly, it is wrong for those people just depend on the Internet learning English and thinking the network as god for helping learning English well. The Internet offer us a good learning environment for us, which is an effective way of learning, but it doesn't mean that if is omnipotent, individual effort is still necessary. The Internet just increase the opportunity of language experience. If students want to master language, persistent effort is also very important for them.

● Network mental health:

    Psychological health is an important part of education quality. If students choose the way of network learning, they will spend a lot of time in browsing web site, when they feel sad, worry, agitated and lonely, they prefer to chat online with others. By this way, they can forget their psychological problem, actually it will do harm to the students' psychological health, so when using the Internet, students should keep self-control, and have the right morality of network and the right concept to the information, and do not browse the unhealthy web site.

● Time limit on the Internet:

   The Internet is a kind of help tool, it can help people to learn language more simply, but long time to face to the computer will affect people's body function, also reduce the quality of reading and learning, in addition, the network is not only a place where people can study and find material, but also a place filled with Internet games, so when using the network to learn, students should better limit the time online, and do never be addicted to the Internet virtual world.

Summary: With the rapid development of information technology, the application of network has become the important way of spreading knowledge. Network technology can provide diversification learning resources, and people can use these resource to develop initiative study, it not only adapt to the needs of the foreign language teaching, but also can improve students' integrated skills. Practice shows that when students are in the usage of network resources with learning initiative, the Internet can stimulate student's learning motivation, cultivate students' interest, and meet the needs of learning, also can raise students' ability to acquire new knowledge, to analyse, to solve problems, and to communicate.
