Today is my last whole day in Beijing, and I will be returning to the U.S. tomorrow. The past month in Beijing, in my opinion, has been very beneficial for me, because I got time to relax and to do things that I truly want to do. Also, I had some time to think about my plans for the future; college, career, and so on. When I get back to America, it will be time for college applications and last-minute testing preparations. I will definitely focus all of my attention on these things, because these are my last steps before college and I will make them good.

 

I will miss a lot of things about Beijing and about China. I will miss the beautiful buildings, the closeness of people, the good services that do not require tips, the nightviews that I love, the subways, the buses, the convenience, the familiarity of language, the shopping and FOOD! I will miss these so, so much.

 

Usually I come back to China once every 2 years, but I am going to try very hard to come back again next summer, because this is the summer before my friends and I will be going to college. We must all meet again before separating into all different parts of the world!

Good night Beijing, thanks for the great times you provided me with in the past month. I will be leaving with a smile on my face.
