Yesterday i watched a video by Yu Minhong, in which he tough many students the connection between english learning and one's attitude towards life.
there're 2 aspects that impressed me tromendously
1st, the spirit of sharing, if you've got 6 apples and there're 5 roommates. then without any hesitation you shall share them, then when your fellow roommates have something like several oranges, dates or pears, they'll share theirs with you. and thus, you'll still get 6 fruits at the end, you'll also get more vitamins, tastes, nutrition, and more importantly, more sharing friends.
this story tells me if you have something that can be shared (when you won't lose anything by sharing), then don't hesitate, share it with your friends.
2nd, the significance of pursuing. if you have something in mind for example, a girl, a job, a higher level of a skill, etc, you shall compete for it. the reason is simple, when something is good for you, it's most likely to be good for many other people, if you don't hurry, it can be taken immediately.
