Iceland Volcano Eruption

                Played Havoc With The Globe

Iceland, a Northern Europe’s small country, with slightly over a population of 320,000, suffered a lot again after a severe financial crisis. The volcano eruption there on April 14th played havoc with the whole Europe, even the whole world. The drifting volcanic ash tracked over European airspace.  

Between 700 and 800 people were evacuated from their homes in the area some 120 km east of Reykjavik because of risks of further volcano eruption.

There were more than 20 countries where around 17,000 flights were canceled. A total of over 5 million passengers were affected. Even American President Obama had to quit attending the funeral ceremony of Polish President. Kenyan flower farmers could do nothing except they watched their nice and sweet flowers rot day by day because of the unavailable transportation to Britain

What makes things worse, the global economy is on the decline. It is estimated that the total loss of the global tourism within a week is between 5 to 10 billion dollars while due to per-day canceled flights the world’s airlines are also in face of huge loss up to 1/5 billion dollars

Nowadays 75 percent of European flights resumed . However, taken security into account, some others were still imposed restrictions on.  

The global economy, just under recovery from financial crisis, took another knock, which caused people’s concern about the future world economic situation . The problem whether the global economy will be able to get rid of such woes was focused on people. In addition, people’s worries about such natural disasters also added a heavy burden to the world unrest

The current world is filled with too many hardships and difficulties like constant natural disasters, various diseases breaking out, inter-dispute between nations, regional wars and different forms of crime and etc. All this has brought negative effect to the world people’ life .

The world needs more security. The global nations needs more peace. The international community needs more harmony. The world people needs more love and better future.

We strongly hope that the people from different countries can make every effort and work together so as to realize our mutual interest and dreams.
