Last Friday , nacy and I were informed that my boss would take a leave home this week and he would stay in Taiwan for a month.During his long absence, Nacy would act as his deputy in DMT while I would take responsibility for DQE.

     This morning when I open the E-mail, reams of work poured into my eyes.After my glancing through all the work , I assign other partner to different task. while their work , I'm busy with replying some E-MAIL that wait for me to comfirm test schedule ,test plan and so on, in the meantime,coping with problems others met in his work.Frankly speeking, I'm really up to my neck in my work this morning and I have no time to get away from my office till lunch.

     This afternoon there is awfull question falling to me. Optoma customer found out there was some serious mistakes in DQE test report which was done by our department .In the report no bug was describled in the buglist page,but in the following page some test result of the items were marked "fail" ,what's the worst , some test datas were beyond the spec.

      I'm fully convinced that those failed items were noted by our test engineer in the buglist ,furthermore, I have checked every buglist in detail before his sending to my boss.What happen?Unfortunatly, I'm asked to have a detail explain the reason of the mistake to customer because of my boss leave. First ,I fail to say anything .But when I review the report customer received,I Immediatly get to know the key of the problem. The reason is that my boss deleted some buglist that are complicated without informing anyone else, in order to avoid customer's asking the corrective action of the bugs. However, he forget modifying the test data and test result in the following page.Oh,my god! On that occasion, I understand the best way is to admit mistake with my carelessness and correct the report at once,rather than find the excuse.To my luck, the customer is so kind that he does not blame me.

        Frankly speaking,I had great interest in management when i was young. Today It dawns on me that it is not easy to be a leader.As a responsibility Person of a department ,you must have management ability,responsibility,careless and agility. As for me, this offers me a great challenge.No matter how difficult, I'm convinced I will make great efforts to overcome it in the following month.
