I live in a dormitory with 5 roommates. We have been sharing the compact room, the countless nights, as well as numerous laughs and tears during the past 3 years.
Most students say “dormitory is just like our second home”. Well, i agree. It is not only because dormitory is a shelter for us to settle in a different city, but also we have dear friends in this small and limited room.
Of course, different people have different personalities, values and habbits which will certainly cause contradictions and even quarrels within the dormitory. But, we all know that it is common and unavoidable to live with others. Besides, these unhappy moments just reflects the close relation between us becaouse if you are getting along with strangers or someone you want to keep a distance from, you will be careful and polite. So, our friendship won’t be affected at all.
Everyday, we go to classes together, we go to lady’s room together, we share the bedtime gossip, we go out for delicious food together...graduallly, we become an important part in other’s life. And we enjoy this kind of natural relation without burden. It’s just like gentle breeze, makes me feel comfortable and relaxed.
Sometimes, I feel worried that once we step into the real society, we cannot have that pure and simple relations. After all, there is fierce competion everywhere in the society. We all want to be better than others and have to think more about ourselves. Anyway, i don’t know what’s going to happen. Maybe, we should be more optimistic.
