I saw the film <Dear John> last week. I love this film so much so that I have watched it again and again.

First of all,I’d like to tell you something about the title of the film. A "Dear John letter" is a letter written to a husband or boyfriend to inform him their relationship is over, usually because the author has found another lover. Dear John Letters are often written out of an inability or unwillingness to inform the man in person. The reverse situation, in which someone writes to his wife or girlfriend to break off the relationship, is referred to as a "Dear Jane letter".

And then,let me introduce the plot. John who is a a member of the United States Army Special Forces.he met Savannah by accident when he was on holiday.They fell in love soon and spent two weeks romantically.Then,John had to go back to the troops.Savannah went on studying in the compus.They kept in touch by letters.One year past when John came back.Unfortunately,9.11happened suddenly,and John had no choice but to leave Savannah.Savannah longs for John to come home;her friend Tim longs to have a relationship with her.Savannah's letters come less and less frequently,and before you know it,he receives the expected "Dear John"letter.

‘I’ll see you soon’ reapeatly arised in the film.The words are few but warm,which gives one strength to believe in the person he or she loves regardless of the distance and time .

Many people around me including myself are in a relationship with him or her not being about.love will not be limited by distance,but how long the love can keep by distance is a complicate problem.It varies from person to person,and some people plave more emphasis on spirit,they may probably maintain longer.Anyway,love is esay to fade by distance,but do have exceptions.
