Her husband is Jose, a Spanish.

Echo used to study in Madrid university, Spain. On a Christmas eve there, she met Jose. the first glimpse made deep impression on her. “I’ve never seen such a handsome boy before.”she later said in her book. For Jose , meeting echo was an even more exciting thing, he loved echo all at first sight.

 Although Jose was just at the age of 18 while echo was already 24 years old, they soon fell in love , Jose always ran away from school dating Echo though she told him hundreds of times not to be absent from school.

One day, in the centre park of Madrid ,Jose told Echo seriously, “Six years later, after finishing university and service, I’ll marry you!” surprised, Echo immediately refused and said: “ Jose,six years is too long ,I don’t think I can wait and both of us have no idea what is going on at then!!” being afraid of hurting Jose, Echo added, “you are still so young, but I am already 24! Tomorrow I may hang out with other boys, please don’t be sad about that.” Jose nodded, as he had no willing to Echo either. “See u then, Echo!” Jose said. “No,no,boy, we’d better not to meet forever, you are young, and u have more chance!” “ok!” Jose tried to smile. Echo saw Jose off on a freezing day of Madrid, many years later, she wrote---On that day, my heart was roaring…

Soon after that, Echo left for western Berlin, Germany, where she began her new life. Life in Berlin was so hard and studying days was so boring which made her tear every now and then. But soon , she got used to that. One year later, she came back to her hometown---Taibei, with a good mark..

Experiensing new love,receiving satisfied job,her 5 years’ life in Taibei was perfect! She nearly forgot about Jose and decided to marry a German. Unfortunately, her husband died just on the day before marriage!Echo,with a broken heart, flied to Madrid.

There ,she met Jose, and 6 years had already passed by!

Jose, at that time,wore a big beard . He was just looking like a god of Greece tale.

“It is 6 years after all!” Jose said.

Looking into Jose eyes, Echo whispered: “do u still wanna marry me?”

However she denied the question at once “No,Jose! I left with a completed heart, but now it is broken!! Why didnt u stick to marrying me 6 years ago, in that way, I wouldn’t be hurted!!!” She burst out crying.

“Echo!” Jose said, pointing at his heart “Here is a golden heart, and we make a change!”

"On that day we changed hearts. And from then on,his heart is mine while mine is his!"---she wrote later.

Echo was an independent girl who always ran for her dreams,and this time,she wanna go to western sahara, which  she often believed as where she had lived  in last life. Jose,differrent from other people,often supported Echo’s strange ideas, but this time, he’s angry, “Why do you always wanna leave me alone??” Echo kept silent for a while because she knew this time she was wrong, but still she 's unwilling to give in.

Jose said no more but made a decision----to look for a job in Western sahara. As soon as arriving there, he wrote a letter back: Echo, I found that pain in heart would never reduce unless…how about getting married this summer??

Echo went out for a whole night’s walk after receiving the letter, she finally decided. Therefor,she sold up her house in Madrid, packed the suitcase, and then headed for sahara.

The two, who both experienced a lot, finally married in desert in the summer of 1973.

They experiensed a fantastic time until Jose’s accidental death in 1979.

Then what happened during the 6 years??

The 6 years of marriage was a golden period of Echo’s writing career, she wrote a lot of stories about Jose which not only made people burst into laughter but also think deeply.

In China, a saying goes: Marriage is the tomb of love. Because couples will not have fresh feelings and even lose interests of each other after marriage. But Echo’s stories prove that marriage can be the paradise as well.

After Jose’s death, Echo lost herself. She once wrote: I buried my husband deep into the tomb while my soul was buried as well.

She continued writing stories, giving speeches, falling love with others,but it’s easily seen that she’s never put her heart into them!

In 1991,she used a stocking to end up her life. However, the people who know her well, prefer to believe that she’s already died in 1979!
