George, restrained and complex , had a special talent and pierce perception of the world, but the movie’s emphasis is about his inner growth and reflection. He thought he was a free thinking individual , but with the motivation problem, he hated everything , party because he read a bunch of figures on mortality which laid his life on the false understanding when he was young.

   Sally's intervention in his life was the turning point in his life. Both of them grew up in single-parent families , with their hearts sharing the same loneliness and sadness. They were mindless, confused and even overwhelmed.

   Sally's departure, family breakdown and the strong mother made George feel the deep love , and when this love came with the responsibility, it broke up the loneliness, that was growth, indeed.

   George finally saw the truth in his life. Before leaving, he uttered the words of hearts to Sally: I was nothing. I felt by nothing. You changed that.

   When the golden light pierced through the curtains and sprinkled the tenderness on Sally's face, she bent down to say “I love you, too”

   All is so beautiful.
