I am close to graduation, so I have to deal with some useless things. Today, my roomates and I decided to sell our unneccesary books. We found a very advantageous place where many students passed to start our book-selling fight We achieved there at about half past nine for the first class over at ten. Everything is ready, we were waiting for the students who closed their classes at ten. At ten o'clock, many students passed here, some may glanced at our books then walked away, but nobody bought one. I have no idea about their thoughts.
Lunch time is coming, we hoped we could sell more, at least one third. I carried a full suitcase books. It was so heavy for me that I would not like to carry them back, therefore, I tried to sell them out. To my disappointed, each of us only sold several books less than 20RMB, and the books we sold were not magnizes but stories, in a word, the books are not related with study. All the review materials for TEM4,TEM8 and such kind of examinations didn't sell one. So did the books we need for classes. I have really surprised at the result. What really makes me angry was a girl who was an junior English major student, when she was looking at my books, I asked her "do you need any review materials for TEM8, you will participate in that examination next year", "oh, I plan to buy the examination answers from the Internet" she answered. I can not understand her idea, everybody knows that TEM8 is a very important examination for English major students.I don't know what she really contempts for, herself or the examination?
