Spring and Summer

Spring has already gone and summer has come!

I even hadn’t realized spring’s coming, it was already gone. It is so short.

I like spring. In spring, the weather is mild. We feel neither too hot nor too cold. The pleasant weather always cheers me up. Besides, spring is very good time for us to study or go for a trip.

Spring is a miracle time, indeed. The sky is clear and clean, the air crisp. The breeze blows gently. Almost overnight, all tress bring forth their fresh leaves. Sweet blossoms bloom on many fruit trees, as if each tried to look more beautiful than the other. The fragrance of these flowers pleases me. I still remember when I was a child, I would fly kites with my best friends in this season. What a wonderful season!

Now it’s summer. Hot summer!

In my mind, summer is marked by heat and haste. In summer, the weather is hot, the air is humid (especially in the south), and the wind doesn't blow at all. In summer, everything seems to be listless --except the mosquitoes, which can be seen everywhere. 

Furthermore, the hot summer confines us to our room. No one wants to walk or work under the summer sun, because the wicked sun will burn our skin. And it makes us drowsy.

Since it is getting hotter and hotter, I’d better go and buy a bottle of sunscreen.
