Having been Wu Han for mostly one year, I enjoy my life in Wu Chang without visiting the other two regions -----Han yang and Han Kou. Yesterday, I set foot on Han yang for the fist time, but the course not only made me exhausted but also gave me a chance to witness the big difference between Han yang and Wu Chang, where many universities locate and high-educational folks live.

Taking the bus 728 and crossing the great bridge, but knowing little about the area, I soon got lost and could’t find my direction when I got out of the bus in the station called Zhong Jia Cun. Learning from the experience in Wu Chang, I didn’t think I can get information from the paper sellers and even other busy people around, so it’s reasonable for me to hesitate for a long time in the bus station without any good idea or just waited a bus 24 to my destination, but there was none. Time going on, I had no choice but to ask for help for I couldn’t miss the appointment. Mastering up courage and tending to the paper seller, but faced with her sincerer smile, I suddenly understood that my asking for help would be replied, and which was the case indeed totally different from the case in Wu Chang. Grateful for her help, I finally got my way in the right direction.

Taken it at face fact, people come into being different in the way they act from region to region. But that’s not all I learned that day.

On my way back to school, I found a significant difference in the bus. It was high time people got home from hard work, and naturally there were no vacant seats in the bus. Every time it stopped, there were many people flooded into it. During the whole driving time in Han yang, it’s apparently to be noticed that the elderly always fond place to sit themselves, for the youth offered their place to them even not asked. But when it drove to Wu Chang, situation changed. The elderly stood hard and unsteadily, and the old mother had to take care of her children, regardless of the safety of herself in the mass, while the young and strong purples sited themselves peacefully, listening to mp4 and watching out through the window not caring anything happened around them. I got shocked.

Even a little case can reflects a person’s personality, and in my eyes, it’s the same with a region, that is, a little case also reveals a region’s custom. Why a region full of educational person even can not catch up with others? Doesn’t college education mainly focus on the moral education, rather, totally on the pure knowledge attached to examination or certificate?

As to education, there is system to be changed from pure knowledge education to synthetical education. As for higher educational forks ourselves, we should be well-behaved on any occasion to reflect our quality through action rather than grade on your papers. Chinese educational system is criticized for its traditional benefits that high grade means everything. And then it’s nature that moral education is always put aside.

In my further education in ccnu, I have adapted to its education plan and pattern, which refers to moral education but still mainly pay most attention to students’ score on papers. It’s a pity to accept it, but ccnu is just only one university in our city. There are many even better universities with the same plan and pattern. Maybe I should be proud of my school for its attention paid to moral education even not so much, but it really have its influence and effect on our mind.

Moral education is a certain education about a social or a class plans and organizes activities in accordance with its ethical principles and specifications to root morality in people’s heart. Good moral character and good social morals are not innate and natural, but acquired through moral education. With the "rule of virtue" and the implementation of the "Moral Construction", each Chinese has a higher demand. But particularly after the implementation of reform and opening China's market economy and accession’s window to the WTO, the moral and values tend to appear on the commercialization, individualism and egoism and all kinds of illegal actions occur under the tendency to strengthen the economic. It requires a correct moral evaluation criterion to meet the need of a market economy and a new system of moral standards. The transformation of the economic system has opened a new historical era, calling for a new higher moral attitude.
         No moral education, that any kind of moral can master social life is impossible, the new morality in particular. Comrade Jiang Zemin has repeatedly emphasized on fostering the "four" new socialist spiritual civilization, which is the fundamental goal. "To focus on this goal, the people especially the young people should strengthen patriotism, collectivism and socialism as the core content of the ideological and moral education. " the current international and domestic situation is becoming increasingly complex, to train new personal in the new century, the school moral education is more important and necessary .  

It’s widely accepted that the average society morality changes with the level of a society development. A well developed or a poor developed society’s morality is usually higher than a developing society, and Wu Han is admitted outside as a biggest country rather than a city as its name presents. If there is no morality, there is no city indeed. So what I think is that when wherever there is no old people stand hard in the bus, Wu Han is a real city every one likes.
