Have confidence in...

He said," I have confidence in them, so I no need to call them again." I did not deny his words, but I really can't agree with him. Things happen like that...
His big sister have a baby in hospital yesterday morning, then his father want to go back to HK to see the baby and bring many nutrient to his daughter. A old man take so many things to have a long trip, I worry about him. About 4 hours later, I ask him to give a call to his father, confirm that if he have reached home. However, he tell me no need to do so, nothing will happen. I insist on that he should have a call, then he says the above words.
As for me, if somebody leave from your side, you'd better give them a call to confirm that they are safety to their destination, that's not because I don't believe them, it's just a kind of politeness, and it also can make you feel at ease. In my mind, confidence is not everything. Alas, maybe I always think too much, so I really can't have confidence in everything. Something like that, I don't know what I want to say now.

- On this occasion, I don't think that's a matter of confidence. We make phonecalls just because "I'm worried about you".

- His words can show nothing but arrogance ,indifference as well as stupidly childish.It seems that he has no idear of how to get on well with others,even with relatives and there are flews in his EQ.while You have done a good job.Back u up!

- I agree. And everytime I leave home to school or come home from school, mom would always said that keeping in touch everytime you got off the train for I have to transfer trains to get here. I know she worried about me. so parent act like this almost by nature, but we children do not act like that. I think we should care more about our parents than we do today
