Say sorry to you

Dear Lisa,
First, I want to send my best wishes to your wedding today, hope you and your family will be happy forever.
Second, I want to say sorry that I miss your wedding today, as I did not get your messages from the Yahoo Mailbox. I don't want to find the excuse for myself, but I haven't login in the Yahoo a long time, or I have to say I have given up that mailbox for some reasons. Otherwise, I hope you can give me a call to remind those important things next time, not just through the mailbox. Sometimes, when I am busy, I won't check my private mailbox everyday, I hope you can understand it.
When I get the call from another classmate today, he ask why I don't come to your wedding party, I really feel shocked and regretful, though I ask him to help me sent you the present instead, any way, I don't want to mistake each other, I tell you the reason here, and I hope we can make a date after your honeymoon! Have a good holiday!

- If i were him,I will check the message received by phone、MSN、QQ, etc,though it is just a email,i think it is only a polite way to express the sorry, but it is not your fault!

- It's not your fault, anyway. Among of the conmunication vehicles, I still believe telephones and face to face talk are more effectvie.
