An endless debate(28-5-13)

Before the dinner time, our family members have a debate as a letter,or just debating for the date of the letter. The letter ask us to do something for the following 14 days, or they will cancel my father's application record. What we debate? Yes, we don't know which date as the beginning, the statement day or the letter sent out date. We have a long dicussion and did not have any result. At last, we find a ridiculous thing, as we didn't get the letter from letter box a long time, and we even forget today is 28-5, the statement day is 11-5, and the letter sent out day is 12-5, whatever date for this case, we have been exceeded the deadline date. In fact, we have a useless debate.
