I guess this is the end.
This is the end of this semester, the end of the Junior Year. Gloom spread and conquered my mind, unbridledly. Saying goodbye to every teacher, I saw part of me hurts like being tore apart.
Professor Du, our teacher for Advanced English, as a learned expert in Forensic Linguistics,he's got his aura shining out there in the stage. His lessons are my favorite ones in my junior year. He is good at getting us involved in the class by letting us give all kinds of presentations, impromptu ones, prepared ones, formal or informal. The stage often turns to be our stage for us giving lessons, sharing our understanding towards the text, asking hosts of questions. It is just the stage that gives me confidence to deliver my opinions in front of others and attracts me to seize every opportunity to share my thoughts with others. Thanks to this course, my oral English improves a lot during this year.
In Professor Du's face, you can always see his smile which gives you power; in his eyes, you can always absorb courage to take on all kinds of challenges. He is just the Professor i ever imagined before i came to university. An aged but elegant man with profound knowledge as well as with some grey hair and a pair of glasses. He enjoys high reputation in the forensic linguistics field, but he always keeps a low profile and lives a very simple life. He bears the curiosity with him as a child, always ready to learn...
Irnez, our teacher for legal translation. We met each other at our sophomore year. She bombarded us with her erudite knowledge of English literature. History, names, works in literature come out from her mouth so naturally that you may doubt she has got chips collecting all those information installed in her mind. And we can never forget her sincere words and earnest wishes she gives us about reading more, learning more. We know we have so long a way to go. In our lelgal translation, she taught us very useful skills and pushed us to run a project-- to translate a 12-page Chinese judgement into English. We learn to practise and practise to learn in this class.
And Jade for Interpreting class, a nice lenient charming lady. Jackie for International Economic Law, she is going back to United States, best wishes for her. Mening for accounting. She is good but i am a bad student. I recalled that once i had a nap in her class, and after i woke up i found myself totally lost in those accounts, debit, credit thing. Forgive me...
I'm wanna thank you all, my lovely teachers who not only impart us knowledge but also set us examples to live simple but rich mentally.
It is almost the end. With seniors moving out from campus, we know our university life will come to an end pretty soon. We dont have many classes next year as a senior. How time flies. The fleeting moments for study. We are gonna be an employee or something. It is not far away for us to say goodbye to those comfortable and innocent times in campus.
And maybe the end of one other thing. Farewell.
