It’s that game again---the World Cup is here. It isn’t hard to tell: All over the place, I see people flying their national flags, wearing football shirts and talking about the beautiful game. And it’s often the people you least expect who turn out to be the biggest fans....

“So is Wayne Rooney’s ankle OK now?” my mother asked me the other day.” It’s necessary to need him playing the best if England are going to win the World Cup.”....

I was so surprised---I never knew my mother was a football fan, and the truth is, she isn’t. But every four years, she transforms into one. It’s impossible not to. With the blanket coverage on the Internet, the radio, the television and the newspapers, football during World Cup summers is the only topic of conversation people are interested in....

However, as it to my father, an absolutely football super fan, his words and behaviors are exceed of my expectation.” It has nothing to me without China team.” I was so shocked about that. Maybe in terms of that patriotic person, there are indeed less of something in his heart....

In fact, there are so many friends surrounding me watching this beautiful game. One of my best friends said, “The World Cup is a time for celebration once four years that must be shared with friends.” So he and his fellow club members, went to the bar to enjoy the games together. Their favorite bar has billiards, charts and table football. And they chatted and eat while some of the less important games are playing .They are good at creating an active atmosphere .Through singing songs loudly, dancing when a player scores a goal, they paid a wild and enjoyable time~~~

Of course, the World Cup means different things to different persons. For example, As one of my female friends said,” Why is it that even those who show no interest in football suddenly become massive fans during the World Cup? Perhaps they have no choice. With everyone else talking football for a month, you have little option but to join in!” She chose to watch the games at home because the comfort is so attractive. She can put her foot on the tea table, or lie on the sofa. She can throw cushions or books when she get angry about the score and not have to worry about disturbing other people...

Despite I was a little disappointed about my supporting Germany Team, I’ll be going on into the World Cup with the same blind optimism with my parents and my friends. What makes it so special is that, around the world, millions of other people are doing the exact same thing. For diehard and causal fans alike, the World Cup is a sporting event with no peer~~~
