Father’s day, an exclusive day for men, which is celebrated on the third Sunday of June, is a day honoring fathers.

Although people may pay less attention to father’s day than mother’s day, we should know that when mothers raise us stalwartly, fathers also care us a lot. Most pople think that, compared with mothers’ gentle, fathers play an strict role, for example, punish us a lot.

When I was young, I thought mum loves me more than dad. Mum always brought me the new clothes and did everything she can for me, while dad always forced me to do everything on my own, such as washing clothes, doing the dishes. Until the day that I decided to choose Hunan University, which is 1500Km away from home, did I realise that dad understood me most. Everyone in my family objeced to my dicision expect dad. He encouraged me to experience something different to get exercised and improved. In the end, I was admitted by Hunan University and then my colorful university life began in 2008.

Father is someone who brings us up. He is the backbone in a family, he is every child’s first model. At Father’s Day, we should send our best wishes.
