She And I

“Shh…Please be silent. She is sound asleep.” Night fell tranquilly, I am wandering around her dream world again. Do you know who I am? First of all, please forgive my boldness to introduce myself. I am the close company of her---her soul. My name is also Freya, as same as hers. Even though I was born in 90s, I like classical things better, such as classical music, classical poetry. At this point, I am a conventional girl. Sometimes, however, I am crazy and rebellious. In a word, I’m a contradictory person. And in my opinion, she ,the other Freya, is also a contradictory girl.

I want to begin by saying that she is calm and rational all the time though she is an arts student. Many friends assess her as an enthusiastic arts student with some characters of science students. Her daily life is in perfect order and she is the forever earliest one to get up every morning in her dormitory. All of her roomates will work and rest out of order without her, which shows her essential as well as important role in the dormitory. On the other hand, she can be really emotional at times. Her sudden impulse often makes others speechless. In fact, every time she acts on impulse, I can hear her great regret. However, the concomitant surprise and happiness always appear around her.

The other contradiction is listed as follows. In some people’s eyes, she is melancholic and there seems some relation between her and A Dream in Red Mansion like her former Chinese name.The truth, I think, is that she is sentimental and at the same time she is always optimistic. She would feel sad for the falling leaves, but she would smile happily for sunshine, flowers, and even gentle wind.

All in all, being rational on important things but impulsive once in a while, and feeling sentimental to the world but always full of hope with the future at the same time bring sheer delight, vitality and new ideas to her life.

Oh, the alarm clock is ringing. I must go back to keep her company right now. She and I make up a complex as well as contradictory Freya. Both of us will meet various challenges in the foreseeable future together!
