He is the founder of Beijing New Oriental Education & Technology Company.As the New Oriental is accepted and well-known by an increasing number of English learners, Mr. Yu are admired by a large group of people. I respect him not just because of his success, but also because of his character.

From failing three times for the college entrance examination to be called Mr. Yu by 70% of Harvard, Yale Chinese students; from a failure to study aboard to help lots of students to travel across oceans; from doing the thing alone to become the leading role of the company which has 4,000 employees; Mr. Yu’  career took a dramatic turn after all these struggles.

He believes that because of these hardships he knows how to live in the “despair to find hope,” to take the initiative in his life.
