coco before chanel has become very popular movie in recent years, i have seen many films ,but the film impressed on me most ."coco before chanel " traces the legendary designer's how she gone through the poverty life and to become world wide fame . this age , i think there is no people dont know coco chanel and her brand chanel , in this movie french actress star Audrey Tautou exploring different aspects of Chanel's life .
"COCO" chanel(1883-1971) is an enduring ,interesting and charismatic character,she led a life full of love ,success and adventure .she was born in the small town in france ,she was the second daughter ,she and her older sister had been inseparable since the death of their mother and her father left the family ,because of this ,young chanel spent her childhood in the orphanage ,when coco turned eighteen ,she was leaving the orphanage and her father never returned for her .Gabrielle Chanel finds job in a provincial bar and to perform singing the song name "coco "with her sister and earning the nickname from this song .and she met the wealthy playboy Etienne who installed her in a country estate as his mistress and as a chance to give her an entree into Fren society and gift for designing increasingly popular hats.Etienne lavished on her the beauties of "the rich life " diamonds,dresses and pearls ,while living with etienne ,chanel began designing hats as hobby soon became a deeper interest of hers.and then she falls in love with a businessman Arthur capel who encouraged her to do business and funded a hat shop after she left Etienne ,through her life become more complicated and adventure.However, her life story is very interesting ,this film demonstrate how coco faced each and every harship in her life with bravery and confidence .but this movie i feel little disappointed about it skipped much love story between coco and etienne ,and swallow a period of her life how to be a success designer.
someone said this movie just painstakingly whitewashes the seedier aspects of chanel's life ,cause her life as a professional mistress is depicte as being purely based on luv. Her private life is alway received wide publicity and dispute.but i think her love story was not complete ,she has two memorable love experience but not coming into fuit in the end .Each piece of love experiece seem to have the reason to cause this result ,the Etienne really loved her and kept the relationship with her and tried to remain nothing go wrong forever ,but his love was so selfish and cowardly and never considered what his mistress really needed ,just detained her at his side;she had said in her life she just loved one man Authur who loved her , understood her and trust her ,supported her and cherished her and she really felt the ture love that a woman really need ,she asked him never to leave her and she would always love him ,but the fate fool her again ,he married with nobility and soon after he died in the accident ,she could not hold back her tears of sadness and grief when she rushed to the scene,Coco desined for herself the back skirt with elegant cut and flowing line ,she just used this way to express her great sadness and agony and embalm her love forever and want all woman wearing these black around the world to mourn her love .Since then the color of mourning as fashion and become popular among European countries.
Now,coco had left but her chanel style will be inherited forever as she said :"when it's still evolving ,but the style forever ."
