500 Days of Summer

The film named "500 Days of Summer" is one of my favorite movies, which i have watched 5 times. The film, which stared Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levit, is a low-cost one, but successfully receives a large amount of profits in return and positive feedback.
The film, at the very begining, reminds audience that "this is a story of a boy and a girl, but you should know upfront, it is not a love story, it's a story of love."
Tom and Summer are the main characters. They met, become friends, and fall in love. They both are a big music fans. It seems that they will go for the marriage altar in the end. But in the 259th day, Summer put forward the break-up idea.She dumps Tom. She tells Tom brutally that he is not the one in her life. In the later half of 500 days, Tom go through the sadness, depression, disappintment, and at last, recovery. In the 500th day, he met Autumn, when waiting for the job interview. Finally, it strikes Tom that Summer may not be the one, as he believes before, but Autumn will be. it is the 500th day of Summer, WHILE, it is also the 1st day of Autumn.
The film is unique, not only because of its contens, but also its form of representation. it is shown in flashbacks and recollection of Tom's memory of Summer. those 500 days. It echos with the saying at the begininig. it's a story of love, not a love story.
Although it is sad and disappointing that Tom and Summer do not get together, the story is very inspiring and teaching to those who are in love and who are just out of love.
if you have some time, you should watch the film.it is worth of watching and tasting.
