Now, my four-year of university life is over. Time flies! While, even now, the memory of four years is still very clear.

 

The most unforgetable thing during this period is the competition of class chorus.When we get the news that our school of English is going to hold a class chorus competition in two weeks, we are suprised, excited, and a little puzzled. We are not specialized in singing songs, especially chorus. it's really hard for us to prepare for the big competition in such a short time. Moreover, we have to go on normal routine of  studying, so we couldn' t put all our heart and time on this event.

 

But, thanks to this competition, I have felt the since utmost strongest spirit of teamwork. We worked together to think up of which song to choose; the arrangement of practice.In the two weeks before the competition night, every classmate of mine are trying to put aside other things to take part  in practice.  

 

The song we choose is the " i will follow him" from the classic move "Sister Act". We all think that since we are English majors, we should sing an English song, not chinese one as usual. This is the idea put forward by 25 of us.

 

As this song is a chorus, it comprises three scales of note, very new and difficult for our amateur to practice. However, thanks to two classmates who have some expertise in singing, 25 of us are arranged into three groups, each one of which focused on low key, middle key and high key respectively.

 

We have arguments, disagreements, laugh, happiness and all other mixed feellings. Though the begining is very perplexing and hard, we overcame it together. In the last day before the defining day, we all are pleased with the result of our efforts; we even couldn't believe that we could sing the song so beautiful and much like the original one.

 

Of course, we've got a satisfying prize, of which we are very proud.

 

Moreover, we are proud of ourselves; proud of the teamwork spirit.
