Don't take me wrong

I made a mistake by making a shipment to a different port.It should have been a big mistake, I must have been freak out if it was years ago. But this time I was calm.Judging from experience, It would not be a problem. First,the order was originally placed with port A and then the contract was signed with port B. Second, the two ports are about 100 km away.The third ,the optional line for this cargo can only discharge in Port .At last, the customer used to accept both ports.So,I wrote a Email asking customer's acceptance.
When we have done a job for a long time, it became dull.But we become experienced,we handle our job at ease, we can deal with all kinds of accidence, we can find methods for all difficulties.Maybe it is a easy job that anyone can do, but different style will lead to different result.A new field may make us feel fresh, but there are aslo much unknow difficulties.
Don't take me wrong, I knew my faults.I should have checked the contract with the order and found the difference earlier and confirmed with the customer before shipment.Experience first means I should never make such mistakes.I don't either mean I stopped the eager for a new field, if I am ready, I will disregard any difficulties.
There seems to be two voices in my mind:staying and changing, they fight a lot, and no winner.

- Some times accident maybe a good thing. If we do something for a long time, we will cultivate some habit. Habit maybe a good thing, but due to we do things according our habit, maybe some potiancial problem exist, when accident happens. We will be aware about ourselves.Thus, we can learn from the accident.

more mistake, more experience.Next time you should be careful,but this time you deal with the matter wonderfully, because you tackle it in calm which may come from your previous experience.

- oh ,I have the same experience and it was even worse than yours .we had a batch of goods ready to ship to the destination port of singapore， I made order to logistic company with the shipping line to this destination without any mistakes .but what the tragedy was ,i made the destinaton to Jakarta ,indonesia in custom clearance paper .when i had noticed this big mistake , i also not very fears .because i know my previous colleague also make this mistakes ,there must have solutions .apparently， boss was not satisfied with it ,but it happened ! we just should try to aviod mistakes.
