How Long Can Love Last?

Loving some one heartily is not an easy job as one can imagine. For even as love infuses you with sweetness so shall he crucify you with bitterness. Even though you name yourself a veteran in the arena of love, you may fail to steer it when really involved. Love is just like a threshing-floor, if you are not strong enough to bear the bitter-sweet taste in it, you’d better pass out of it.
I never thought about how long love can last in one’s heart before, but after watching this movie, the reader, I began to give a thought about that. Love is always regarded as the most alluring present of God, and the favored son of him is the one who can be afforded with a piece of it. Yet God never guarantees the lifespan of love; he may scatter love to thousands of baskets but without a glimpse of whether or not it is safely placed. You may come up with a thousand of possibility to illustrate the cause by yourself, but you may never learn the answer from God.
In the flick, at the very beginning, the God temped to sow the seed of love in the two characters. Well, as in most cases, they yielded to it and they felt comfortable when enfolded by the pinions of love. However, things are not always as one’s expected. Without a tangible reason, in the movie, the heroine left the hero. Shall we say she just abandoned him? I figure I may say so. From ensnaring the kid to departing all of sudden, leaving the kid feeling desperate and dismay and impotent, she definitely can be interpreted as an evil woman, which is exactly my original opinion toward Hanna. With the discontent of her, I relentlessly asked myself——Is she an angel in disguise? Has she ever given her heart to the fifteen-year-old chap? How come she became so cruel to leave without a word? You know, when I saw the dissociation of the boy’s eyes, I can even feel the twinge of the pain. I badly hope there is a Messiah coming to rescue the innocent boy. However, everything happened at the end of the story demonstrated clearly that the woman was not as evil as I thought. She never forgot about her beloved. You may feel it through her soothing expression when she was listening to the records, feel it through her expecting eyes when she met her boy in the prison, or feel it through her silent death afterwards. And my feel of it is so strong that when Hanna repeatedly played the records, her most precious property, I couldn’t help making my tears shed in my eyes and then well up. Believe it or not, I can picture how badly Hanna wanna redeem herself from the past, how gratifying she felt when hearing her boy’s voice, and how impotent she felt to do with her predestined destiny. However, life does not favor the spoony woman; she finally ended up with a sad result, which in my personal perspective more or less was resulted from the indecisive man! Whatever! The reader is a worth-watching movie. From it, I got the answer of my puzzle——love in woman’s heart can last forever, but in man’s, let me just say it just depends on how much the woman gives to him.
Love gives naught but itself and takes naught but from itself. Love possesses naught, nor would it be possessed, for love is sufficient unto love!!!

- thank you for sharing your opinions and feelings about the movie. i was kind of moved by the story. i will watch it if possible. i believe true love or pure love does exist in this world. however, it is contaminated by some people. it seems a rare thing and hard to get. what a pity!
