My child is less than 22 months old. Recently he seems growing a lot, bringing many surprises to us. Last night, I stepped into our bedroom to fetch something, unexpectingly to find he’s pooing on the floor. It’s not the point. He’s supposed to climb down from the bed and squatted to shit, all by himself, all the process.

As just minutes ago before he had poo, I held him to the bed and sent a bottle of soup. As he is keen on sitting or lying on the bed to drink. Then all the other people were busy with their own jobs, no one peeped or accompanied him.
 
He now fully knows that the sleeping bed is not a suitable place to have a pee or poo. Just several days ago, my mother-in-law said that he himself slipped from the bed to have a poo when they were watching TV.

Another pleasing thing happened this morning at about two o clock, when we’re all in sound sleep. I seemed to hear my son’s calling mom in a daze. I unconsciously raised my head to see what happened to my little angel. It’s not a dream, my son kept calling mom. Without thinking, I checked his ass with a piece of baby diapers every night and found it all wet, even leaked on his clothes and blanket. So much pee that night. I praised him then happily replace another one for him.

This denotes that even in sleep he has the ability to call help when in need. How a brilliant boy.
