Hi,
I am an American, from New York.
I am coming to Chengdu China for 3 months, on an artist residency.
I joined this blog site to stay in touch with my family and friends. I need points to upload photos, and I need help learning how to get more. I also would love to know more about China and Chinese culture. In exchange, I will practice and edit (if you want) English with anyone wanting to improve or refine their second-language skills.

- u know, I am from chongqing. it takes 3 hours by bus to arrive chengdu. chengdu is a beautiful city but I did not go before. welcome to chongqing. if u want to know chinese culture, u should spend most of time travelling, this is most importantly.

- so far: the sunrise, the people, the landscape, and the food.
I am in an area with only farmers and artists...it is very different from Downtown...very beautiful, very slow and peaceful.

- nikkischiro: Chongquing, there is a university there...right?yeah, chongqing university is very famous. besides we have others. what a pity! I went to university in another city, even if I am from chongqing. but now I am in chongqing working. I have a lot of friends worked in chengdu. it is a beautiful city. and the most interest thing is we both speak the same dialect. not mandarin.
