From now on, I will switch my life completely into English one, which means I will merely speak English and keep trace of my life in English. That's the only way I can get to improve me oral English entirely and enable me a good job in the future. I was really shocked and disapponited with myself by an interview in a travle agency. It sucks!
As an English major, we've spent numerous energy and time reading, but what we should indeed strengthen is speaking exactly by which we can made the first impression.
In order to improve my English rapidly, I choose to speak English everywhere and all the time. Only in this way chould I create more opportunities for practice. My slogan is "", which means speak enlish or just keep quite. So next time. when I come across you, I will chat to you in English and all my diaries on the RENREN net will be in English! - Firstly,thank for your comment .I admire your unyielding perseverance and the passion ,vigor you put into English learning.But there is one point u may miss --more haste,less speed and I am afraid the outcome may fail your expectation if u simply learn by speaking everywhere.Method is more important than blank efforts.My suggestion--learn by heart,to think more in English,watch some TV play like <FRIENDS>,moderate immetation and conversation with others.The last but not the least,learn with heartfelt joy,don't push yourself and never see it as a burden.Hope u can make it!

- You have a good plan. I like to compare learning a language to learning to be a good writer. Most people are not good writers. Why? The spend time speaking but not writing. When they try to write, it is very difficult for them. That is because they do not practice writing. The same thing applies to learning a language. You have to do it to learn it.
One of my friends told a story. He knew two people who went to a different country, a man and his wife. The man did not worry about being correct. He only wanted to learn to speak. The woman worried constantly about saying something incorrectly. So she was very slow to speak the foreign language and when she spoke she made sure she used the correct words.
Guess which one of them learned to speak well! The man, of course. He became fairly fluent. His wife never learned how to speak the language because she was afraid to use it!
