In the history of fairy tale literature, maybe the most well-known sentence is "prince and princess lives happily ever after..." yes, and the movie "Enchanted" is just like that.

 

"Enchanted" tells a story that a princess in the fairyland was expelled to New York City by the evil queen, and the only method to remove the magic is to find a true love. The first part of the movie is presented by animation, while the second part is displayed by human performamce.

 

The theme of the movie seems follow a conventioanl pattern. According to the plot, the whole story seems boring, but I have to say, some details in this movie are really moving, and it is these details and the good performance of those performers that make the movie successful. I watched this movie several months ago but now I can still remember some of the plots in the movie. I remember that some aged man were drawing portraits for their wives in the park, the princess saw that, and just left a few words on the drawing board: you are adorable. The princess is from fairyland so there are only love, beauty and happiness in her heart, she do not know anything sorrow, and in her mind, everything should be happy and direct. So she wrote "you are adorable" on the drawing board and thought that there are nothing better than to tell directly to show one's love.

 

Another impressive plot is that the leading man in this movie works in a law firm, and once the princess went to his office and encountered a divorcing couple. The princess could not understand why people leave each other, she felt very sad about that, and then she told the husband that his wife's eyes are beautiful and shining. On that moment, the husband remembered that he fell in love with his wife just because he thought her eyes were charming. Then at last, the couple thought they were still in love and decided not to divorce.

 

Although the movie seems conventional, but there is a very important thing that the movie tends to tell all of us, that is "to be simple, and to be happy", we need to believe that the world is still fine and full of love, we need to be happy about the people around us. Attitude is vital, it is one' attitude that decide whether he or she is happy or not.
