A saying goes “Never judge a book by its cover” that means we can’t judge a person or thing by the first impression otherwise you’re inclined to prejudice against others

So what is prejudice?

As far as I am concerned prejudice is an unreasonable dislike of a person or group based on one’s point of view. And I think it’s wrong and harmful to have prejudice against others.

First of all it unfair to others as every one is equal in law. Moreover, we all have our blind spots if you prejudice against people you’re unlikely to learn from other people

Secondly, if people from different religions of one country prejudice against each other it is hard for the country to unite let alone develop economy. Take our country for example. Do you think it is possible for our country with 56 nations lead a comfortable life and achieve such rapid economic growth if different nations prejudice against others?

Lastly there’re many conflicts or even wars in the world if the people worldwide prejudice against other races.

Although different countries have different culture, there’s still possible for people worldwide live harmoniously.

In a word, it’s wrong for people prejudice against other people who cime from different backgroung.
