In our ordinary lift, we always expect there is an unknown world which is waiting for us to discover. May be this world is just in our own mind or it is actually existent. But if we close our eyes and keep our mind wide open, we can create a world.

Bridge to Terabithia is not only a magic film but also a fairy tale for the adults. The film tells us that with imagination and the spirit of adventure, We can go through the space time.

Jesse is an unsociable student. His parents can only provide him the basic livelihood. Everyone laugh at him because of his poor life. Lesley is a strange girl who is brave and full of energy. Before they meet, each of they don’t have a friend. Fortunately, they meet each other. Not every person can meet the right one. Life don’t like the fairy tale that full of accident. Most of our life are just boring and wateriness. But until you meet him or her, you’ll find that how beautiful your life is. If Lesley don’t appear, maybe Jess is still an quiet boy without a friend. And if Lesley don’t appear, they’ll not create the magic world. In our adolescence, most of us may have the same experience like the hero and the heroine. We want to meet our best friend and because of she, my world is not only one person any more.

The hero and the heroine find the balance between the reality and the fantasy world. In the fantasy world, they forget unhappy things and image they are the queen and the king of Terabithia. And when they come back to the real world, they enjoy their lives more, treat the others sincerely and face the cruel world bravely.

At the beginning of this film, I feel even angry about Jess’s family. While his elder sisters and younger sister and brother having their breakfast, he is doing the housework. He loves running very much. But he only can wear his sister’s shoes and a dirty T-shirt to compete in the running competition. The bus driver force him to get off the school bus even though he know it is not Jess’s fault. Why people treat him so unfair. Because he is poor. May be this is the dark side of the world. But after his best friend Lesley died, everyone show their sympathy to him. I think the real care is not tells him how sorry you feel about his doom. It is disaster. Without Lesley, maybe jess will feel sad, may be he will cry. But Lesley will be in his mind forever. 

 There are two lines I like best. One is keep your mind wide open, you can create a world. And another is the best praise is working hard and worth what you do. Sometime I try to find a reason for myself to keep working hard. And after watching this film, I know it. Because What I do now is worthy.
