It has been said that if a woman does not get married a few years later after she got a Master or Doctor degree,she will be classified to be a member of "3S"women,most have decent job,high degree and are financially independent.Here,I will show my views of the reason why they are dignified the special title "3S"(single,stuck,senventies).

First:  If You Are the One

The reality-TV scandal to transfix the nation involves Ma Nuo,a 22-year-old model from Beijing who appeared on China the most popular dating show,If You Are the One.She haughtily rejected an offer from a male contestant to take a ride on his bike."I would rather cry in a BMW car than laugh on the backseat of a bicycle"Ma told her suitor a giggle.

I write this report,not because a high-school educated woman is a money worshipper and gold digger like Ma,but because they also have their high standards.As women with high degree,they expect a husband to be equally as or more successful than they are.However,traditional chinese values emphasize a patriarchal social system,men are supposed to perform better than women in every area,expect appearance.Based on the two contrary statement,It is not difficult to find a factor of being dignified the special title.

Second:Growing Divorce-Chinese-style rate

Divorce-Chinese-style is on the rise,especially for the generation after 80s or 70s."They are better educated than their parents,are more independent economically and have developed a stronger sense of self,which tends to wreck marriages more easily"the Global Times says.To some extent,I think,the reason of divorce seems to the same with the factor of not getting married.As marriage means a lot of responsibilities,they do not want to take a risk to sacrifice their freedom.What's more,nowdays,women are free to pursue happiness and live as they choose,instead of being confined by traditional marriage value.

Third:The problem of age

When the peers were busy preparing for living the life of marriage,they were still devoting the whole time to their study,They had no more time or energy to have a date.Gradually,the gold time for courting had gone.In the other hand,as they grow older,their tolerance drops and they are less willing to compromise.The number of men who meet their requirment gradually grows smaller.

Finally:They also want to fall in love,but for some reason(including the reason from themselves and others),they can't.
