With our society and technology developing ,more and more opportunities offer to people to show themselves .As a result of it ,more and more people pay more attention to their appearances.To make good and comfortable impressions to others ,some peoplp may do the operation for their faces and other parts of their body which they dissatisfy with them .
As we alll know ,Susan Boyle is very plump and has plain appearance ,but she is famous for her song "I Dreamed a Dream "from Miserables on reality TV programme Britain's Got Talent .Because she is very confident to herself .Even though when she stand on the stage ,everone laughed at her by her dress and homely appearance ,she pay no attention to them and sing the songs .However ,everyone shock when she sing the words of the song ,and thunderous applause break out now and then .Through the case ,we can see there are many people judge persons by their appearances.We should shift this concept to treat everyone equally .
I think there are many factors contribute to her success .First of all ,the stage gives her chance to show herself ,this is the basic condition to her success .Secondly , she has talent and she is confident to herself .As the old saying :Self-confidence is the first step on the road to success. The least but not the last ,she perseveres in persue her dreams and never give up .So we should believe even though the subtle things also can make great achievements and we can't deceive by the outside appearance .We should keep in mind that beauty is only skin-deep.
