From 2007 till now, <the Desperate housewife> has been put out 6 seasons and it is still going on.

This series demonstrated every aspect of mid-class people at mid-age in USA through telling stories happened in several typical families.

You know, the whole picture is always drew by every tiny details. Gaby, Susan, Lynette and Bree, these main characters have totally different personalities: Gaby, who loves money married a rich guy. Susan is a divorced woman and now she is dating with a handsome neighbor named Mike. Lynette is a capable woman raise 4 children with her thoughtful husband. Bree is a gorgeous woman with a pair of children rebel against her.

Though from the beginning, they are in the very different conditions. But deep in everyone’s heart you can see both evil and goodness: selfish and dedication, coldness and hospitality, love and revenge, understanding and misunderstanding. No matter how deeply people hurt each other, they are all trying their best to face the evil directly and bravely. They admit the dark side of life while they although give a hard try to control their own desire in order to make life more brighter.

I think this is an honest attitude. Compared with Chinese series which always purely sing a praise to life. <the Desperate Housewives> drew a much more true picture of life which eventually guide us to a bright future.
