Zhang Lixian, people on Internet who like him called him Laoliu for short. He is an editor of a series of books---<duku>. I got to know him through the links on the net when I was a Grade One student. It has been four years since I knew him. What he did, what he said touched my soul and cultivated my character deeply and unobstrusively.

Before starting working on <duku>, he was one of the leaders of the Modern Publishing Company. At that time, he worked under a system which is maybe not so rational that made him felt uncomfortable. So he just quit the job and run a business by himself. In my eyes, this decision is full of courage which I admire.

He loves the career of edit and he has lasting passion with it. Reading the books of <duku>----the fruit of his effort, you’ll find it much more exquisite than most of the publication on market and much easier to read through thoughtful typesetting.

He said it’s absolutely a right thing to adapt yourself wholeheartedly into the career you really love. But if you are not so powerful that can get enough money to live on your own from the work you love. Maybe you should prepare yourself well first: working hard and saving time for something you are interested in.

Once you get start, just enjoy it then you’ll get fulfillment from it.
