Better study, better world

20 years ago, I was born in a small town in Shaxian. When I was little, I asked my mother, "Mom, will I be rich? May I live in a city in the future?" Then my mom told me," Study hard, and you will have a better world." That was what she had instilled into my mind. So I studied hard.
The year 2005 witnessed the admission to my dream school, Sanming NO.1 Middle School. During the next three years, I was a boarding school student living in a small city. This offered me a little taste of a better world. I met various kinds of people, having a bigger circle of friends. I studied even harder.
Then came the year of 2008 when the college entrance exam took place. Afterwards, here I am, the city of Nanjing. It feels definitely great to discover the beauty of Nanjing and keep my eyes wide open for lots of opportunities. In university, I'm still willing to learn. Large libraries have brought me into a sea of knowledge, giving me chances to talk to great minds like Shakespeare and Lincoln; wonderful environment has provided me with good study resources and a wide range of information; meaningful activities have equipped me with basic social skills as well as work experience; and excellent transportation has allowed me to travel around to know more about our culture. All of these have not only offered me a ticket to living in a big city, a fantastic real world, but also opened the doors to a better mental world, making me knowledgeable and human. I come to realize what my mom said does make sense. Yes, work hard and go ahead!
Study is a key to marvellous tomorrowland. Persist in studying, and I'm sure that I'll go further and further in the journey to a promising new world.
