A Scary Experience

I still remembered that day when my friend and I went to the downtown.On our way to the shopping mall,we met a person who was selling cosmetics.I was not interested in it at all,but my friend showed that she was quite curious about its function.The man said we could try it for free first and then decided whether we should buy it or not.The manled us to their workplace so that we could try all the cosmetics they had.I was unwilling to go,however,I could not leave my friend alone.She insisted on following that guy.We didn’t find their so-called office until we went across several streets.We arrived at a dim and narrow street.I was not feeling well since it smelled of stale luggage.It looked as if the wooden house were dangling. We could rarely see any one on the street. Suddenly, a girl ran out of the office, crying heavily. A thought came to my mind, we must be cheated.I lied to the bad guy that we had to go to the bank first so that we could afford the makeup. I made every efforts to drag my friend out of the place. When we were back to the downtown, I told her that we were narrowly treated. To my surprise, she didn’t believe me,what’s worse, she couldn’t remember what she did just now. I was very frightened upon hearing what she said. Several days later, it was reported that some girls were cheated just as we experienced. I couldn’t help thinking that what would happen if we didn’t left that place, and what we would suffer if that guy didn’t let us go away. How terrible it was! As the saying goes, "A fall in the pit, a gain in your wit, "weshould know that there's no such thing as a free lunch .
